This earthquake has tested the strength of our people, but it has also revealed the depth of our compassion. Our teams are not just providing care; they’re showing up every day with quiet strength, standing beside those who have lost so much. This is what it means to serve our community,” @Dr. Sandy, Chief Operating Officer, Pun Hlaing Hospitals
From setting up mobile clinics in makeshift shelters to hand-delivering medication and supplies to villages, our Pun Hlaing Hospitals team has been working quietly, tirelessly, and side by side with local responders.
At the Kan Taw Nadi Rescue Center in Mandalay, doctors and nurses are treating minor injuries, supporting patients with chronic conditions, and providing essential health checks to the elderly and children. In Nyaung Shwe Township in Inlay, Shan State, our volunteers are helping to coordinate food distribution, guiding families to safe shelter, and providing basic first aid training to community members.
Across all this, 1,500 staff from Pun Hlaing Hospitals have stepped beyond their usual roles – working long shifts, sharing knowledge, and staying close to the communities that need them most.
These efforts are part of Yoma Group’s broader relief response, uniting funding, medical expertise, and hands-on support across the country. And while there’s still much to do, our focus remains on care that is consistent and compassionate.
To every team member, volunteer, and community partner – thank you.
