Job Summary
The Fraud & Transaction Monitoring Assistant supports social scanning activities, maintains detailed and well-organized records of all conversations, investigations, and findings, and conducts investigation calls with customers when additional clarification is required.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assist with social scanning activities
- Keep detailed and organized records of all conversations, investigations, and findings
- Report any observations that may indicate fraudulent activities, gaming, or reputational risks
- Review and investigate daily transaction alerts for suspicious or unusual activities
- Make investigation calls to customers when additional clarification is needed
- Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly transaction monitoring and calling activity reports
- Maintain a professional, customerfriendly approach while ensuring clear communication
Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas
- High school graduate (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of experience in a team leader or supervisory role in a related field (e.g., transaction monitoring, fraud operations, call center supervision, financial services operations)
- Interest in transaction monitoring and customer service work
- Good communication skills for clear, professional outbound calling
- Good computer skills, able to use MS Word and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
