Job Location: The Campus, Pun Hlaing Estate, Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, (Monday to Friday)
Position Purpose
The incumbent works with Bankers & internal business customers to help develop, improve processes and controls. Reporting to the Head of Finance with close interactions with all functions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Acting as point of contact for all the escalations with regards to Banking, Treasury & E-money
- Ensure Daily Fund planning for operational needs viz Vendor payments, Biller settlement & Airtime E-Load etc. and always ensuring availability of adequate funds for Vendor & Biller Payments.
- Trust Account Management – Ensuring e-money float equivalent funds in trust bank account at all times.
- Weekly Fund requirement forecast & prioritization for a 4-month rolling period.
- Optimizing return on funds by planning & executing opportunities through Fixed Deposits and maintaining minimum thresholds at Savings Bank
- Daily Banking Operations & Liaising involving coordination with Authorized signatories and banks for timely movement of funds, daily reporting of bank balance movements and petty cash management.
- E-Money movements and reconciliation with MFS system
- Manage strong relationship with Banks and ensure all related compliance
- Maintain regular reports related to treasury & daily cash management through a cash flow statement
- Coordinating for CMS services and processing & validation of related invoices
- Timely recording of Revenue in ERP 365 and preparing analysis of variances
- Ensuring timely payments in coordination with various Signatories as per Chart of Authority
- Ensure compliance with controls, Chart of Authority, policies and procedures
- Planning & Implementing Monthly Closing Activities in close coordination with Team members
- Manage the year-end audit process with the external auditors with respect to Treasury
- Coordinate with cross functional team for business process requirement

Competencies
- Communication:

- Proficiency in MS Excel / MS Access / Power Point / Thinkcell
Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas
- Complete ACCA or Pursuing ACCA Par 2/3 or CA or CPA qualifications. Master’s in business administration or finance / commerce related studies desired
- 8-10 Years’ experience in medium to large International Organization (minimum 5 years in similar role)
- At least hands-on 6-7 years of working experience in Finance & Treasury function.
- Strong knowledge of Banking transactions with experience in Treasury Function
- Confidence and ability to propose and defend opinions and perspectives to influence and achieve financial objectives
- Energetic, open-minded and flexible to work in any given work environment
- Ability to work independently and proactively while improving processes and results, prioritizing work with minimal direction
- Willing and able to offer insight beyond daily duties and find alternate solutions
- Proficient in excel spreadsheets / ERP D365 / SAP R3 / Oracle Financials
- Proficiency in English (both oral & written) for effective communication
