Position Purpose
- Acquisition specialist (Corporate Partnership) is responsible for full ownership of all strategic customer accounts (B2B partners, Biller accounts).
- This person will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key business account during entire sales cycle and customer lifetime; from identifying commercial opportunities, developing relationships, acquiring new accounts, retention of partners account to drive revenue growth.
- This person will also oversee any new collaborative integration projects and product development of accounts by managing all internal and external stakeholders.
- This person will also be responsible for ensuring satisfaction of all strategic accounts by effectively guiding and liaising internal support teams.
- This is critical role in delivering all aspects of Strategic Key Account Management by strengthening partner relationships and using analytics to drive partner sales growth, increase partner loyalty and constantly improving the Partner and customer experiences and satisfaction.
Key Result Areas
- Strategize and deliver expansion and acquisition of new strategic partner accounts.
- Deliver growth and retention of total number of active strategic partner accounts (billers and biller merchants).
- Deliver revenue growth by each partner’s account and increase active users.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all external stakeholders and partners.
- Lead, manage, and navigate team for new commercial and monetization opportunities, take charge of related integration projects with partners (billers, biller merchants) and internal team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Oversee the growth of (a) Key strategic partner accounts (b) ensure their user activities, (c) contribution to building the Wave Money partner ecosystem, and (d) manage their performance in delivering increased sales and revenue.
- Identify, build relationships with new Partners and develop strategies to acquire different partners segments as business opportunities to achieve targets.
- Maintain productive partnership working relationships and engagement with all accounts to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Be accountable for partner’s full lifecycle – pitching, signing, onboarding and account management.
- Analyze and monitor Partner performance every week and on monthly basis to provide required marketing support to increase more sales.
- Gather and analyze market, customers data and industry insights for strategic prioritization and identifying additional revenue opportunities.
- Work very closely with product team and other cross functional team to have more efficient and effective in delivering the tasks.

- External: Billers, Biller Merchants from different sectors and industries
- Internal: Immediate team members, HOD, CBO, Product, Technology, Finance, Operation, Distribution, Digital
Key Performance and Success Indicators
- Strategic Key Accounts growth and Retention: Deliver total number of Partners (Billers and Biller Merchants) growth target and retention and ensure expansion of Wave Eco system.
- Performance: Meeting active users target and revenue target and other KPIs from all strategic key accounts in alignment with corporate strategic directions and goals.
- Relationship Management: Ensure customer satisfaction during entire sales cycle and customer lifetime for all strategic key accounts by strengthening partnership relationships, close deals, leading discussion and providing solutions and resole issues within the set time.
- Innovation and Continuous improvement: Initiate and develop business model and strategies together with partners and manage implementation project for product, process development, integration, additional revenue generation and monetization and deliver win-win outcome.
- People Management: Lead, direct and manage team members in own reporting line and drive to deliver assigned KPIs and positive influence to other managers and senior management team.

- Strong sales strategies, planning and key account management concepts for B2B and B2c sales.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, projects, fulfilling different partners requests and resolve day to day operational issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Good interpersonal skills to build and manage partner relationships across all internal and external stakeholders and ability to delegate tasks.
- Effectively manage projects related to the program and system integration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, negotiation skills in all engagement with constructively.
- Successful professional approaches to collaboration and ability to positively influence all internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Experience, Functional Skills and Knowledge Areas
- Prior experience in partnership or merchant acquisition team in bank industry or mobile financial service industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or accounting is preferred.
- Strategic and analytical thinker and complex problem-solving skills.
- Professional fluency in English and Myanmar.
