Job Location: The Campus, Pun Hlaing Estate, Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, (Monday to Friday)
Job Summary
Support Risk Department with the implementation of Wave Money’s Risk Management Framework across the organization and facilitating day-to-day risk management processes, including identification, assessment, monitoring and overseeing mitigation actions.
Key Results Areas
- Assist in the process of management of risk related to adherence of laws and regulations to which DMM is subject to.
- Support Risk Department and Risk owners to identify and assess risk within the business
- Minimize fraud, reputation damage, and other losses/impacts on the business
- Assist with reviews of status of operational risks and mitigating activities
- Assist with identifying risk changes and escalates material changes to line manager
- Identify and escalate any noncompliance with Code of Conduct or Policies including but not limited to Risk and Compliance matters
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assist the line manager in preparing risk reports and dashboards
- Assist in monitoring Key Risk Indicators and escalate Breaches to line manager
- Coordinate with cross-functional units to assess risk and ensure mitigation actions
- Assist in maintaining Risk Register and ensure periodic and holistic review
- Coordinate cross-functional activities related to Risk Management
- Participating in Business Continuity planning and activities
- Perform data analytics and provide insights by checking transactional behaviors and suspicious activities to detect ML/FT
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and scenario analysis
- Manage any assigned operational risk incidents including fraud
- Follow the governance structure and risk management framework set by Wave Money
- Perform administrative activities for Risk Department

- Experience in Risk and Compliance in a Financial Institution or Mobile Operator and/or a holder of appropriate qualifications will be an advantage.
